Introduction

In 1937 my father Edwin Harsant decided to make Aviation his profession and since then aeroplanes and airports have been very much part of our lives. Still family owned and run we have aimed over the years to provide the very highest levels of tailor made services to our clients.

HarsantAir S.L Spain was founded 38 years ago and over the years the Company has grown in the various areas of Commercial Aviation, and later in 1982 pioneered General Aviation Handling in Ibiza Airport.

I decided 4 years ago to start a project for General Aviation Handling based on my own experiences as a user. My aim is to provide the very highest level of service for crews and passengers alike at affordable prices, with no issue to large or to small, luxurious and comfortable premises and with competent staff on the operational side speaking many languages, (including English, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, German & French). This ensures an effortless transit through our airport facilities.

On the 31st March 2009 our new company image was launched and we opened for business in Mahon airport. The construction of the new General Aviation terminal, which includes our private lounges, will be finished in June.

In April we acquired Interwelcome, the longest established FBO in Valencia airport, with 100 square metres of premises second to none. This has enabled us to extend and consolidate the range of services we are able to provide in the airports in which we operate which are at present Ibiza, Valencia and Menorca.

We now look to the future and have several projects underway that will enable us to continue with our expansion.
